The Shop Malaysia Online (SMO) campaign is a government initiative under the Belanjawan 2021 eCommerce Programme driven by the Malaysia Digital Economy Cooperation (MDEC) with the support of participating e-commerce and e-wallet/digital payment partners.
The objective of this campaign is to enable e-commerce adoption and encourage online shopping among all Malaysians and to drive digital adoption for local sellers and businesses to enable them to sell online.
