Kuala Lumpur, 20 December 2021 – Following the devastating floods that have impacted several Malaysian states, Boost is running an eDonation campaign to help those affected recuperate from the aftermath, and provide a platform for Malaysians to come together as a nation to provide much needed assistance for flood victims.

Boost users can eDonate directly today to local humanitarian organisations such as Mercy Malaysia (MERCY), Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA) and My Fund Action via the ‘Donate’ button on the homepage, or click this link (https://myboost.app.link/nMPtp0zQvV) to access the “Donate” section.

Sheyantha Abeykoon, CEO of Boost said, “The flood situation is one of the worst seen in years. Through our eDonation platform, Malaysians can easily channel their support no matter where they are in the country and #DoGoodwithBoost to provide much needed assistance. We understand that nothing can fully replace the loss, shock and trauma suffered by flood victims but we hope that the funds raised will go some way to easing their burden and help them get back on their feet more quickly.”

“The funds contributed to MERCY, MRA and My Fund Action will be used to alleviate the hardships of over 30,000 individuals who have been displaced and all others affected by the central Malaysia floods. No amount is too small to give as we believe little gestures make a big difference,” added Abeykoon.

Boost is also collaborating with Watsons to provide further assistance to flood victims by providing 200 boxes of essential items such as toiletries and face masks that will be distributed through MRA, who will carry out field work in handing out essentials to flood victims from Sungai Lui in Hulu Langat.
