Through this initiative, Malaysians can claim their RM50 ePENJANA from 31st July to spend on anything they need, while the use of MySejahtera aims to keep the public safe through contact tracing, to help contain COVID-19.

  • The ePENJANA is an initiative under the Short-Term Economic Recovery Plan (PENJANA) aimed at encouraging consumer spending.
  • It also aims to instill safety practices through contactless payment and assist the public health authorities to facilitate contact tracing for Covid-19 through the MySejahtera application.
  • Around 15 million Malaysians stand to benefit from ePENJANA, where the Government provides RM50 ePENJANA credit, to be used for purchases through the selected e-Wallets service providers, which are Boost, GrabPay and Touch 'n Go eWallet
  • At the same time, the selected e-Wallet service providers will provide additional incentives worth RM50 through vouchers, cashback, discounts, rewards and 'coins'.

To qualify for the ePENJANA credit, you must:

  1. Be a Malaysian individual
  2. Be 18 years old and above as of or on 31 December 2020
  3. Earn less than RM100,000 annually based on LHDN’s latest records
  4. Have installed and is a registered user of the MySejahtera app
  • The ePENJANA credit can only be claimed by eligible applicants once, from 8.00am on 31 July 2020 to 11.59pm on 24 September 2020.
  • Once claimed, the ePENJANA credit must be utilised by 11.59pm on 30 September 2020, after which time, any unused ePENJANA credit will be automatically removed from the applicant’s e-Wallet.
  • The additional incentives provided by the respective e-Wallets vary depending on their policies. Please refer to their respective campaign announcements for more information.
  • Any ePENJANA credit balance unspent after 30 September 2020 will expire and will automatically be removed from your e-Wallet balance.

You are required to download and register on the MySejahtera app and claim the RM50 ePENJANA credit via the e-Wallet of your choice.

MySejahtera App

  1. Download and install MySejahtera app from the Gallery of Malaysian Government Mobile Applications (GAMMA), Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Huawei AppGallery.
  2. Fill in your registration details (full name as per Malaysian NRIC/Malaysian Army/Malaysian Police Number and other required information). For existing users, please update your personal details (full name as per Malaysian NRIC/Malaysian Army/Malaysian Police Number)
  3. Proceed to apply for the ePENJANA initiative via the e-Wallet of your choice.

For new or existing Boost users

You will need to verify your Boost account in order to claim for your ePENJANA later.

  1. Download Boost from Play Store (for Android smartphones), or App Store (for iPhones) or HUAWEI AppGallery (for HUAWEI Smartphones
  2. Go to your "Profile" screen and click on "My Wallet" and followed by “Upgrade to Premium Wallet”.
  3. Next, you will need to verify your IC following the steps below*:
    1. Snap a picture of the front of your IC
    2. Snap a selfie. Make sure we can see your face clearly for verification purposes
    3. Verify the details captured. Please double-check the details and click on the next button to proceed.

    The identity verification will be done to identify for Malaysian claimant, IC number, income eligibility, whether you’re registered on MySejahtera and whether you have claimed your ePENJANA from another e-Wallet already.

  4. Verification of information provided will be completed within one (1) working day
  • If you meet the eligibility criteria (which includes registering on MySejahtera) and have been successfully verified under the eKYC process, you will receive a one-time RM50 (Ringgit Malaysia Fifty Only) credit issued to your chosen e-Wallet (“ePENJANA”) within five days of the application date.
  • You are entitled to only one-time RM50 ePENJANA credit from one e-Wallet of your choice throughout the programme. Once you have received the RM50 ePENJANA credit from one e-Wallet, any attempt to claim additional RM50 ePENJANA credits from other e-Wallets will be rejected by the system.
  • Starting 31st July at 8am onwards, any successful claimants from Boost is able to enjoy a total of more than RM130 per user on top of RM50 ePENJANA, consisting of:
    1. RM60 reward from Celcom XP Lite Postpaid Voucher; and
    2. Up to RM20 worth of Lifestyle Rewards Bundle (“Bundle”) given at random when they spend a minimum of RM5 of their RM50 ePENJANA.

You can use the RM50 ePENJANA for any transactions within Boost (such as paying at offline & online partners, paying bills, topping up prepaid, buying vouchers) except for in-app Donations. However, the ePENJANA credit cannot be transferred to other e-Wallet accounts or be cashed out.

You will receive a notification in the Boost app after you have submitted your claim.

Yes. All retailers are encouraged to use MySejahtera Check-In to register and manage the entry of visitors into their premise in a structured and standardized manner.

To register, premise owners must follow these steps:

  1. Register your premises at https://mysejahtera.malaysia.gov.my/checkin/
  2. Enter your mobile number or e-mail address and click on the ‘Register’ button.
  3. You will receive a One-Time-Pin (OTP) via SMS (if you register using phone number) or a confirmation link through email (if you register using email address).
  4. Enter the OTP and press ‘Send’ (if you register using phone number) or click on confirmation link sent through email (if you register using email address).
  5. Fill in your premise’s registration details and press ‘Send’. You will receive a ‘Successful Registration’ message.
  6. You will receive a unique MySejahtera QR Code for your premise. Download, print and place the QR Code at the entrance of your premise to be scanned by visitors.

Your citizenship, age and income data will be verified through Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara and Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri. There will be no sharing of personal data from JPN or LHDN with the e-Wallets.

    It is a RM60 worth of rebate voucher from Celcom when successful claimants signs up for XP Lite™ with M or L pass. RM60 rebate will be automatically provision for 12 months, starting in your 1st bill (RM5 x 12 months).

  6. Can I use the RM60 rebate voucher with a device bundle?
    This promotion is not applicable with any device bundle or device plan that is tied to a contract.
  7. If I upgrade or downgrade my pass or I change my plan, will I continue to enjoy the RM60 rebate?
    No. The RM60 rebate (RM5 x 12 months) will stop if you make any changes on your pass or your plan before the 12 months period ends.
  8. I am an existing XP Lite™ with M pass customer, will I get to enjoy the RM60 rebate voucher?
    Yes, you may enjoy the RM60 rebate voucher if you upgrade your XP Lite™ plan from M pass to L pass.
  9. How much do I need to pay for my XP Lite plan for the subsequent months?
    This promotion will allow you to enjoy RM60 rebate which will be automatically deducted for 12 months, starting in your 1st bill (RM5 x 12 months). For example:

  2. What is a Lifestyle Rewards bundle?

  3. How will I get the Partner Wallet rewards of up to RM20?
    You will need to spend minimum RM5 of your RM50 ePENJANA to receive a Partner Wallet rewards of up to RM20 in your My Rewards page.
  4. Would I be able to choose which Partner Wallets I can get within the RM20 Lifestyle Rewards Bundle?
    The Partner Wallet rewards are given at random to all claimants.
  5. How do I use the Partner Wallets within the bundle?
    Each of the Partner Wallet within the bundle would have different cashback amount set by the participating Partners. Each Partner Wallet would have a minimum spend that you would need to meet during your next transaction at that Partner’s outlet in order to utilize the cashback given. The individual Terms and Conditions for each of the Partner Wallets can be found on the respective Partner Wallet card itself on the My Rewards page.
  6. When can I use the Partner Wallets by? Is there an expiry to the cashback?
    Yes, there is an expiry date for each of the Partner Wallets. You can refer to the expiry dates stated within the respective Partner Wallet’s Terms and Conditions. Any unutilized Partner Wallets after the expiry date would be forfeited.
  7. Can I transfer any of the Partner Wallet to another Boost account or cash out?
    No, all Partner Wallets are non-transferrable to other Boost accounts or to any bank account.

    Yes, Entries for Claimants in August will stand a chance to win prizes allocated in August. However if the Claimant does not win in August, the Claimant will still be entitled to stand a chance to win the prizes allocated in September.

    No, claimants may only win one (1) prize under this Campaign.
